I'm an Ubuntu user who's hobbying with self-hosting. I think I'm affected by
this bug: On my old laptop (24.04.3 LTS) logging in with my SSH key works fine;
I don't need to enter a password or make changes after each reboot, but on my
new laptop (Ubuntu 25.10) I do.
Using 'ssh-add ~/.ssh/id_ed25519' helps but is not persistent between reboots.
This 'Personal SSH key' is also available in Seahorse ('Passwords and keys').
I see that a fix was released in "openssh - 1:10.0p1-5ubuntu5" but I have
"OpenSSH_10.0p2 Ubuntu-5ubuntu5, OpenSSL 3.5.3 16 Sep 2025" and still have the
issue. Maybe something else was fixed than what I'm experiencing?
If we need to change our ways of working, I would be grateful for some guidance
on the new ways of working to be shared/published.
Many thanks to all who've been working on this!
