Public bug reported:

In short: KiCAD <=9.0.5 has always worker perfectly fine in Ubuntu <=25.04
After I upgraded to Ubuntu 25.10 - both work and home computer's kicad
installation randomly stops responding to some types of objects, clicking tabs,
or values in tables. Closing and opening said window may fix it.

Please see
https://gitlab.com/kicad/code/kicad/-/issues/22046#note_2833961993

I have tried with both apt and flatpak as KiCAD source.

To reproduce:
start kicad w/o GDK_BACKEND=x11
observe that the about window tabs do not respond. (click 8 tabs)
start kicad with GDK_BACKEND=x11
observe that the about window tabs respond, for a while - try to switch between
8 tabs, if it works, it may stop doing so in a while/on next window opening.
This is very easy to reproduce.
