Thanks for this information. Is this documented anywhere? The description for the package is just "UEFI boot entry manager", and there is no README in /usr/share/doc/nullboot. The package is also marked 'Important: yes'. When I attempt to remove it apt says that "Removing essential system-critical packages is not permitted."
That message isn't correct as I'm not using an azure-fde kernel so it is NOT system-critical.
