@Chris Guiver
It's not an "Opinion" that my system was BROKEN after updating it and rebooting.
No GUI in Kubuntu seems like a CRITICAL BUG and not an "Opinion", don't you
think?

** Description changed:

  Removal of plasma-session-x11 dependency in kubuntu-desktop/plasma-
  workspace packages BREAKS existing installations.
+
+ After updating and rebooting the system was BROKEN, there was NO GUI.

  kubuntu-desktop and/or plasma-workspace must still depend on plasma-
  session-x11

  Reasons:
  1. Removal of this dependency breaks existing Kubuntu installations!
plasma-session-x11 package is auto-removed.
  2. X11 is a valid and supported option with XLibre, and it should not be
removed for political or personal reasons.
  3. Wayland protocol (let alone implementations) is at best alpha-quality
(after all this (wasted) time) with lots of required functions still missing
and discussed. It is unusable as a stable daily driver.

** Changed in: kubuntu-ppa
       Status: Opinion => New

** Changed in: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
       Status: Opinion => New

** Changed in: plasma-workspace (Ubuntu)
       Status: Opinion => New
