Desktop: MEDION® AKOYA P63011 Performance PC I think I’ve been trying to solve this issue since upgrading to Linux Mint 22.
Some things I tried that did not solve the issue: Adding intel_iommu=off Update BIOS Fresh Mint 22.2 installation Changing several BIOS settings I think Mint 22.x uses kernel 6.x. I think Mint 21.x uses kernel 5.x. I think Mint is based on Ubuntu, so maybe there are a lot more users affected, but this bug get noticed on different forums/platforms. Maybe I will go back to Mint 21.3, the issue should not yet be introduced with the older kernel 5.x. For me this is a time-consuming issue to debug, because I have to power on my machine for several hours, to test if the suspend and/or power off works. Also, sometimes (in my case) suspend and power off does work, but then x day(s) later it keeps hanging again (screens go black but cooling fans keep spinning, and I have to press the power button for 5 seconds to force shutdown). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2031969 Title: Kernel 6.x: Suspend & Power off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2031969/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
