Following https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gst-fluendo-
mp3/+bug/105190 , I have resolved the problem by removing the package.
In fact mp3 files are also and better managed by another package called libmad0
( http://packages.ubuntu.com/gutsy/libs/libmad0 )
which should be already installed on your Ubuntu.
