* I compiled your program against Qt6 6.3.4 installed from the Ubuntu
repositories. I could not reproduce the issue
* I installed Qt 6.5.3 and 6.8.3 from the Qt online installer and run your
pre-built binaries. I still could not reproduce the issue.
* I looked at VID-20250902-WA0004.mp4 again and I can clearly see that you
initiate a 2 finger gesture and nothing happens until you add a third finger,
so i don't know why you say "GTK apps is about 2 touch, it worked ok": the
video shows otherwise.
* I also cannot reproduce the issue in gtk4-demo.
So let's exclude an issue with client applications.
Let's try these debugging steps:
1) Disable all GNOME extension: make sure that `gnome-extensions list --user
--enabled` reports nothing
2) Log-out, log back in
3) Try to reproduce the bug using only 2 fingers. Do you get 2 lines?
4) Try initiating a desktop gesture with 3 fingers.
* When moving 3 fingers upwards, does the desktop enter the Overview mode?
* When moving 3 fingers left, does the desktop change to a new workspace?
5) Check which input driver X.org is using:
* grep "Using input driver" ~/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log
Finally, is there a specific reason that you're using X.org instead of
Wayland? Was this the default for your machine? You may try using
Wayland by logging out and selecting either "Ubuntu" or "Ubuntu (on
Wayland)" from the gear menu at the bottom-right of the screen.
