I'm one of the developers of ntpd on OpenBSD (known as OpenNTPd).
I saw that ubuntu has an ancient version of it (openntpd
(1:6.2p3-4.2) as package. This is bad, as that version (based on the
OpenBSD. 6.2 version from 2017) does not have NTP era support and will
start failing in 2036. Since 2020 (OpenBSD 6.7) it has era support.
Can you please update the package? I notified the debian maintainer as well as
debian has the same issue.
