Public bug reported:

After updating the kernel for raspberry pi 5 with Ubuntu 20.10 I get the
following error:

piboot-try:
New boot assets in /boot/firmware/new failed. Fallen back to known good
state. Use piboot-try --reset-new to re-test boot assets. If you are able
to determine the boot failure is due to a bug, please file an issue:
ubuntu-bug flash-kernel

GNU/Linux 6.17.0-1003-raspi aarch64 is the running kernel.

I tried to upgrade to: GNU/Linux 6.17.0-1004-raspi

I also tried to deinstall an reinstall the kernel, but that didn‘t work.
I also got the error when I first installed the OS with the raspberry pi
imager
