I have the same problem (OS Ubuntu 7.10, daily updates):
Hardware: two DVD writers (NEC and Samsung). The problem occures if I try to
make a copy:
1) NEC -> Samsung or vice versa,
2) NEC/Samsung to file image,
3) NEC/Samsung -> NEC/Samsung
Error msg. in case 2):
Session starting:
flags = 8323
media type = 0
speed = 0
track type = 9
track format = 63
output = /home/ruebezaehler/brasero.toc
Session error : das Laufwerk kann nicht blockiert werden (transl. the drive
can't be locked)
