Public bug reported:
If I attach an external disk drive (USB) with a btrfs file system on it and try
to mount this (either via Dolphin, or a script that uses udisksctl) it can take
a very long time.
This is because btrfsck is being run on the partition.
Whilst I'm waiting I can see:
root@gmllaptop:~# ps -ef | grep btrfs
root 12687 1417 58 11:49 ? 00:00:36 btrfsck /dev/sda1
root 12902 10799 0 11:50 pts/2 00:00:00 grep --color=auto btrfs
root@gmllaptop:~# ps -fp 1417
UID PID PPID C STIME TTY TIME CMD
root 1417 1 0 11:05 ? 00:00:01 /usr/libexec/udisks2/udisksd
This does not happen every time, but it is sufficiently frequent to be
very noticeable.
This is new at 25.10 (Questing). I did not see it on 25.04 or earlier.
