Public bug reported:

Nautilus randomly freezes. It works fine for a while then abruptly stops
accepting input. When it happens, nautilus windows cannot be moved by
dragging the mouse (although I can still move the using the keyboard -
Alt + F7). Neither do they accept clicks on files/folders or input in
the search box. Context menus fail to pop up.

The issue typically appears when I select a file name in one nautilus
window and copy paste it into the search bar of another.

I have seen online discussions of a similar issue where nautilus
automatically recovered after about 20 seconds. That is unfortunately
not what I am seeing.

My journalctl has logged these:
