Public bug reported:

Got an error message about being unable to save when I tried modifying a draft
on a remote IMAP folder.
Running thunderbird in a terminal gave a more detailed message:
thunderbird Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)
[nsIFile.createUnique]

Attempting with a clean profile by moving my legacy folder
~/.thunderbird to ~/.thunderbird-disabled gives the new profile guide,
that then is unable to write both to the suggested snap-folder and to
~/.thunderbird if I directed it there instead.

Maybe related that it's running on ZFS?

Gave up on snap, installed thunderbird from mozilla ppa instead,
restored my ~/.thunderbird, and then everything works as intended again.

** Affects: thunderbird (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
