Public bug reported:

I've recently upgraded my ubuntu 25.04 to 25.10.
After the upgrade the external HDMI monitor is no longer detected with the
highest resolution
I am not using wayland but rather x11 with the i3 window manager

I am using the propriary nvidia driver 580 installed by ubuntu-drivers
Also with the nouveau it doesn't detect at all the external monitor anymore.
