By the way, to make that flag persistent so you don't have to write it
every time, you can use

  echo 'CHROMIUM_FLAGS="$CHROMIUM_FLAGS --ozone-platform=x11"' >> 
$HOME/.chromium.init
  chmod +x $HOME/.chromium.init
