Public bug reported:
I am running Linux Mint 22.2 with a Comet Lake PCH-LP cAVS chipset. My
analog audio ports are not detected; I only have a 'Dummy Output'. I
have tried installing firmware-sof-signed, using dmic_detect=0,
dsp_driver=1, and various model= options in alsa-base.conf. None have
worked. The analog codec (Realtek, likely ALC2xx) is simply not showing
up in aplay -l.
It seems the problem lies with the specific motherboard not exposing the
correct identification codes (Vendor/Subsystem ID) to the Linux kernel.
