Thankyou for your work on this. Yes, I can confirm that this fixes the issue. Prior to noon today local time (NZ currently in UTC+13), I installed your updated package, and my test email came through with the correct time.
After that I removed your ppa, downgraded mailutils, and the error presented again as before. Yay.
