After almost 14 days of uptime, System Monitor 46.0 hogged 16GB RAM in Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon - based on Ubuntu 24.04.
I run System Monitor all the time, to keep an eye on my resource usage, that's how this memory leak managed to get this bad. Good thing I have 64 GB RAM, so 16GB wasn't a "deal breaker" for me, but a memory leak in System Monitor is top irony, especially this severe. ** Attachment added: "System Monitor 2025-11-07.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-monitor/+bug/2079898/+attachment/5924966/+files/System%20Monitor%202025-11-07.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2079898 Title: Memory leak on gnome-system-monitor?
