The next LTS upgrade will bring another major upgrade for Postgresql, and another test for pg_upgradecluster. When that comes, what steps can I take to preserve information that may help in any diagnosis ?
As I noted earlier, pg_upgradecluster has worked for me on occasions in the past - and has also failed before as well. I can but try again ; though my fallback is always to keep full daily datadumps, including drop/create statements ... It would be good, however, to get pg_upgradecluster working consistently ! Best wishes, and thanks in the meantime ... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2081996 Title: After upgrade to 24.04.1 LTS pg_upgradecluster fails to upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postgresql-16/+bug/2081996/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
