After installing 24.04.3 LTS, I get the following message in new xterm windows:
"xterm: Can't execvp /usr/bin/luit: No such file or directory"

/usr/bin/luit was in the x11-utils package in 22.04 (jammy) but not
24.04 (noble).

After some trial-and-error, setting the LC_ALL environment variable to
"en_US.utf-8"
eliminated the message. LC_ALL was previously set to "C" to "en_US.utf-8".
