when my amd 7840U thinkpad resumes from suspend, the graphics shows
"noise" and the brightness is maxed. The first screen refresh rebuilds
the screen, and there are no further problems. Although I have to
manually turn down the volume,
Via the mainline app, I installed 6.17.7, with this kernel, the problem
is not visible.
Also to note, under both kernels, at the grub menu, the display is at
maximum brightness.
