Public bug reported:
Under Ubuntu 25.10 (kernel 6.17.0), the internal speakers of my HP
Elitebook 8 G1i 14 AI don't work. They appear in the system settings as
"Lunar Lake M HD Audio Controller" but they don't produce any sound.
However, I can get sound via headphones when plugging into the headphone
jack.
Before upgrading to 25.10, I had Ubuntu 24.04 LTS where the problem was
the same (there the internal speakers were detected as "sof-hda-dsp").
The internal speakers worked under Windows before I installed Ubuntu.
And in the BIOS setup, I can get a "beep" sound. This indicates that
this is not a hardware problem.
In case this information might help: the BIOS says that the Audio
Controller is Realtek ALC3315.
