the new unattended kernel update has caused my system to not be able to
connect to internet, the window animations were gone, the windows'
close, minimize window buttons looked like in windows 7 ???
so i had to get into my GRUB menu, select the older kernel module inux-
image-6.14.0-34-generic , and run these commands:
sudo apt purge linux-image-6.14.0-35-generic linux-
modules-6.14.0-35-generic linux-headers-6.14.0-35-generic
sudo apt-mark hold linux-image-6.14.0-35-generic
sudo apt-mark hold linux-modules-6.14.0-35-generic
sudo apt-mark hold linux-headers-6.14.0-35-generic
