The Debian GNOME team is close to removing the unmaintained clutter-1.0
from Debian. See https://bugs.debian.org/996690
There is one major blocker in Debian, and that's caribou which is used
by Cinnamon. Therefore, my guess is that Debian won't be able to remove
clutter-1.0 from Debian before Ubuntu 26.04 LTS is released.
