Public bug reported:
When I delete a word in VIM using, say `dw`, the system clipboard now
contains that word, so if I do <ctrl>v in Firefox I paste that deleted
word. Any time I delete or replace text in VIM, including deleting
entire blocks using e.g. 10dd it will clobber what I have saved in the
system clipboard. My next paste would paste 10 lines in that example!
Traditionally we have to do `"+y` to get things into the system
clipboard but it seems like the VIM buffer and the clipboard are getting
mixed together. I didn't notice this before, so it may have just
started happening with upgrade to 25.10.
