Thanks Heinrich for driving this here and upstream! my recap - I've seen the deep discussion at https://lore.kernel.org/qemu-devel/[email protected]/T/#u that still got stalled and didn't lead far.
- In https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/issues/2014 the same state is that the issue coming back in 10.1.0 (Debian 1:10.1.0+ds-1ubuntu1) -> So 9.2 good due to 637b0aa13956 - but 10.1 bad again. - So you said here that since '637b0aa13956 ("softmmu: Support concurrent bounce buffers")' (which was in 9.2) it was good but with upstream QEMU 9.2.4 it was bad again. Which is a smaller range (197 vs 5939 changes): -> 9.2 good 9.2.4 bad again. You have been doing these bisects and the UEFI Self-Certification Test against it - and that is lovely as I'd struggle and start from what feels like zero. But since nothing happened since 2 months on upstream or here - I wanted to make sure you are - as time and priority permits - continuing on that or if you expect us to chime in? ** Tags removed: server-todo ** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu) Assignee: Christian Ehrhardt (paelzer) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2055296 Title: qemu: virtio: bogus descriptor or out of resources To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/2055296/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
