Restricting comments because this bug has started attracting spam.

bug 196078 was fixed not too long ago and will display `text/*`
responses if no `Content-Disposition: attachment` header (or `<a
download="blah.someext">`) or similar is used. We should keep this bug
open as an enhancement for the cases where we show the "what do you want
to do with this file" option. It's possible that implementing this is
easier now that we have a similar option for PDF and a few other
filetypes, by extending the `handleInternally` code for this "arbitrary
text" case, though it may be tricky if, post-download, the OS reports a
different mimetype (that doesn't match `text/*`). I'd be interested in a
patch but unfortunately it's unlikely this would otherwise be resourced
in the near future.
