It took me a long time to find this, so here is the mintupgrade error that is caused by this: ``` E: /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/kbd failed with return 1. update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-6.8.0-39-generic with 1. dpkg: error processing package initramfs-tools (--configure): installed initramfs-tools package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 ```
I managed to fix this problem by installing the `usrmerge` package and then updating initramfs again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2076009 Title: noble: initramfs hook references outdated paths To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kbd/+bug/2076009/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
