I cannot reproduce on Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS with NVIDIA GTX 970 and nvidia-
driver-580
> libEGL warning: egl: failed to create dri2 screen
This is evidence that something is going wrong with the graphics setup inside
the snap.
I'm not yet sure about how that relates to your black screen-share, though.
Here are some first debugging steps:
1. Open `chrome://gpu`, click "Download Report to File" and share the file here
2. Run `snap run --shell chromium -c env` and share the output here
3. Run:
sudo apt install mesa-utils
cp /usr/bin/eglinfo $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/snap.chromium/
snap run --shell chromium -c '$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/eglinfo -B'
and share the output here
