I'm on the third day testing after booting with:

`pnpacpi=off atkbd.reset i8042.reset i8042.nomux i8042.nopnp i8042.noaux
i8042.noloop`

no random key repeat up until now. I'd really appreciate if someone else also 
helps to test because those events are rare and it is hard to tell if I'm just 
lucky for 3 days.  
 
I think the important part is the pnpacpi=off that turns off Dell's ACPI IRQ 
table and rely on legacy.   
  
Other parameters I plan to test:  
acpi=noirq   
pci=noacpi
acpi_irq_nobalance
acpi_irq_balance
