Public bug reported: The laptop speakers are working correctly; however, external headphone/speakers are not detected by ubuntu when connected with jack. This is a certified laptop with ubuntu 24.04 (https://ubuntu.com/certified/platforms/15226). I'm running the ubuntu 24.04 lts version shipped by dell (with oem kernel).
