I could not reproduce this. The nvidia 580 module builds successfully on
6.14 HWE kernel for me.
Based on above error message, make sure you have the headers for HWE kernel
installed and try again:
sudo apt install linux-generic-hwe-24.04 linux-headers-generic-hwe-24.04
