Public bug reported:

The "Open With..." dialog in Nautilus (GNOME Files) lacks a search bar
or filtering mechanism, forcing users to manually scroll through a
potentially long list of applications.

To Reproduce:

1. Right-click any file in Nautilus.
2. Select "Open With...".
3. Type for an application (i.e. "code" for Visual Studio Code

Expected Behavior:

A search/filter bar should be present at the top of the application list
to allow quick filtering by application name.

Actual Behavior:

The dialog only displays a long, static list of applications, making it
slow and difficult to find the desired program.

Environment:

- Nautilus Version: 49.0
- GNOME Version: 49.0
- Distribution: Ubuntu 25.10
