Public bug reported: Following the update released on Jan 15 I get the following in "/var/log/cups/error_log" when the computer boots up:

Querying cups with "/etc/init.d/cupsys status" returns Status of Common Unix Printing System: cupsd is not running but /var/run/cups/cupsd.pid exists. This same thing happened on my system at work - a totally different make/model of computer that I let the update manager maintain. The only way to get cups running again is to restart it through terminal.
