   cupsd: entrygroup.c:424: avahi_entry_group_add_service_strlst: Assertion
`name' failed.

Querying cups with "/etc/init.d/cupsys status" returns
Status of Common Unix Printing System: cupsd is not running but
/var/run/cups/cupsd.pid exists.

This same thing happened on my system at work - a totally different
make/model of computer that I let the update manager maintain. The only
way to get cups running again is to restart it through terminal.

Thanks,
Seth
