Public bug reported:

cloudpickle version 3.1.1-2 fails to build from source with python3.14, as can
be seen in here:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloudpickle/3.1.1-2

This issue was fixed in upstream in version 3.1.2, which currently isn't
available in Debian.

I've applied the necessary patches on top of 3.1.1-2 and tried a build and it
now passes. Attached is the debdiff and the build can be found here:
https://launchpad.net/~ebarretto/+archive/ubuntu/devel-testing/+packages?field.name_filter=cloudpickle&field.status_filter=published&field.series_filter=

It didn't pass for amd64v3, not sure if that is really an issue.

This should end up fixing the proposed migration of pydantic and zabbix-cli,
and perhaps some others too.
I've made a build of pydantic to check if it solves it and indeed, the build is
now successful:
https://launchpad.net/~ebarretto/+archive/ubuntu/devel-testing/+packages?field.name_filter=pydantic&field.status_filter=published&field.series_filter=

Debian will be impacted by this issue too when they transition to
python3.14. I will be reporting this also to them.

** Affects: cloudpickle (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
