So, I've got a few questions here:

1) What, and how are we testing on Jammy? Do we expect Thor platforms to
boot Jammy images with this patch (the test case only tests Noble
images).

2) Changing user configuration in an attempt to disable do-release-
upgrade is not really appropriate, and won't have the result of
disabling do-release-upgrade anyway (users can just change it back). Is
this one of those cases where we have broken Ubuntu policy by accepting
some kernel packages we cannot maintain into the main archive?

3) Are upgrades from *Noble* expected to work? Do we at least have
kernel support for that going forward?
