That's interesting - so installations with just a single LUN work fine then.
Are the two (or more) multipath disks (aka LUNs) attached to a single set/pair or HBAs - or does every LUN has it's own set of (probably two) HBAs? This would be interesting to know, since it might make a difference, and because this is a scenario that I can try to recreate here for further analysis (well, on a different architecture, but nevertheless ...)
