Im not really sure, as all I did was `do-release-upgrade` while merging
the new config changes. The upgrade ended with update-initramfs failing,
and a warning that the system could be in an unstable state. I was
thrown into initramfs shell upon reboot and had to chroot from a live
USB to run `update-initramfs -u`.
