@jchittum thanks for replying. I'm not comfortable with uploading the crash logs, although I'm spending some time investigating the reason for this crash. From the crash it looks like the reason is because the function `control_connect_cb` in `bluez/profiles/input/device.c` is using an `input_device` object after it's freed (a use-after-free).
I just wanted to make sure I'm not chasing a bug that's already fixed. I'll try to stay active here while I look for the root cause. I'll fix it and submit a patch if I find it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1689443 Title: bluetoothd crashed with SIGSEGV in g_io_channel_unref from control_connect_cb from connect_cb from g_main_dispatch from g_main_context_dispatch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/1689443/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
