Public bug reported:

Description:
After upgrading from Linux kernel 5.15.0-161 to 5.15.0-163, two external
monitors connected to an NVIDIA Quadro T2000 GPU are no longer detected by the
system.
System Information:

Kernel: 5.15.0-163-generic
GPU: NVIDIA Quadro T2000 (TU117GL-A)
Driver: nvidia 580.95.05
Display Manager: GDM (GNOME Display Manager)

Observed Behavior:
With kernel 5.15.0-163, the journalctl logs show that display ports DFP-0 and
DFP-2 are marked as disconnected, while the two monitors were previously
working correctly on kernel 5.15.0-161.
Current detection status in 5.15.0-163:

DFP-0: disconnected (Internal DisplayPort)
DFP-1: disconnected (Internal DisplayPort)
DFP-2: disconnected (Internal TMDS)
DFP-3: connected (RTK J560J10 - TMDS) ✓
DFP-4: connected (BOE Technology Group - DisplayPort) ✓
DFP-5: disconnected (Internal DisplayPort)

Regression:
Kernel 5.15.0-161 detects all displays correctly. The issue appears to be a
kernel regression between these two versions.
Workaround:
Reverting to kernel 5.15.0-161-generic resolves the issue completely.
