It sounds like the usr-merge transition on your system is incomplete, or
/usr/libx32 was otherwise modified incorrectly.
If /usr/libx32 exists on your system, please try fixing the /libx32
symlink to point to that. If /libx32 is just a completely broken symlink
with no target (as the error message suggests), you can probably safely
remove it.
