If I have a Gzipped file in a format like DOCX or JAR which uses a zip
file under the hood, and I double-click on it in Nautilus to extract it,
the internal document gets extracted as well, making it hard to read the
file.
Really, no one uses GZipped zip files since zip files are already
compressed. If they want to use GZip specifically, the standard is a
Gzipped tarball. Even if someone were to send me a Gzipped zip file, I
could simply double-click on the resulting output.
