Public bug reported:

From time to time, about once a week, when switching window with Atl+Tab, the
application switcher panel get stuck on the screen. Everything stays
responsive, but the mouse clicks are grabbed by the switcher. The keyboard
input are sent to the selected app.
I've tried pressing many key combos without success. Pressing Alt+F2 in this
case closes the app switcher, but the whole gnome-shell becomes irresponsive.
Switching console and back (Ctrl+Alt+F1 then Ctrl+Alt+F2) does help. However,
the application switcher get stuck again after.

Note, this happens while Firefox is focused (not sure if it's a
coincidence, as I use Firefox quite a lot!)
