Hi Robert and thank you, I think Simon didn't want to be too aggressive when he wrote (one of the selection from the template) "...he package dav1d will not generally be useful for a large part of our user base...". I already leveled that up with my analysis. You just double down on that which is a helpful statement - thanks.
And - thanks again - furthermore you made us aware of the split decoder/encoder preference. You are right on that aspect, let me reduce the (already non-blocking), request to demote AOM with that in mind. P.S. and yes, being already in main then is one less blocker for integrations like in gstreamer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2133757 Title: [MIR] dav1d (transitive depends of libavif -> pillow) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dav1d/+bug/2133757/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
