PROBLEM:
When the options update software automatically after a reboot are
activated in the kubuntu system settings (see attached screenshot), the
updates are applied very reliably, but after every update the system
boots to the grub menu. This only occurs when activating the automatic
updates after reboot option. I have observed this problem on two
different machines and in a vm. So it seems to not be related to
hardware and to be reproduceable.
EXPECTED RESULT:
Kubuntu should not boot to grub menu after installing an update. It
should directly boot the system, like on every boot without a prior
update.

(Hardware doesnt seem relevant, as this problem occured on two machines
independently.)
