Public bug reported:
This is on the early Resolute images, I would expect it also affects at
least Questing (I haven't done anything with a Desktop ISO in a long
time so I don't know how far back this goes).
I'm installing Resolute Daily on a laptop. In the installer it gets to
the point where it wants to connect to a WiFi network and shows me all
my local SSIDs.
I pick one and in the installer the ONLY highlight is on mouseover.
Once I click one and move the mouse off of the list of known SSIDs, the
highlight disappears and it confusingly looks like nothing has been
chosen.
I sat here for several minutes clicking and re-clicking on the SSID I
wanted to connect to before I tried just hitting Next and discovering it
HAD actually registered my choice, the installer just doesn't indicate
my choice in the UI.
NOTE: Once I do click next and successfully connect, the list of SSIDs
does indicate which I'm finally connected to with a checkmark. There's
just no intermediate indication I've actually chosen one before I've
clicked Next and gone through the process of connecting.
To reproduce (for me):
1: boot the Resolute daily
2: advance to the wifi network setup
3: mouse over the SSID list and note that the one under the mouse gets
highligted but ONLY when the mouse is over it.
4: Click one and move the mouse out of the selection box
5: note that all indication is gone and there's no indication that you have
clicked/chosen any particular SSID
