[ Test case ]
Install the latest linux-6.17 kernel on Noble:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:canonical-kernel-team/ppa3
$ sudo apt install linux-generic-hwe-24.04-edge
Install sl-modem-dkms:
$ sudo apt install sl-modem-dkms
Load the modules:
$ sudo modprobe slusb
$ sudo modprobe ungrab-winmodem
The same procedure should be repeated on linux-6.8 to test for possible
regressions.
Install Questing kernel and repeat steps from above

Patches from sl-modem-dkms in Debian:
-debian/patches/fix-linux-6.15-ftbfs.diff
[ Regression potential ]
We may experience regressions in systems that are using the sl-modem
drivers, especially with kernels >= 6.8 kernel.
