Public bug reported:

The problem occurs when I copy operating system images to a flash drive
created with Ventoy. It uses the exfat file system. A 5-10GB image takes
a couple of seconds to copy. This is impossible even with USB 3.0.
Afterwards, I can launch Resources and watch the flash drive continue to
be used at a write speed of 5-18 MB/sec. This means the image is simply
being sent to RAM and then slowly written to the flash drive as usual.
If you don't check, this looks like a scam; the GUI reports that the
copy was successful, even though it wasn't. A possible solution would be
to disable caching for non-Linux file systems. The issue also occurred
on Ubuntu 25.04.

Operating System: Ubuntu 25.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2
Kernel Version: 6.17.0-8-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
