Public bug reported: Quoting the [rclone documentation](https://rclone.org/commands/rclone_mount/#mounting-on- linux):
> NOTICE: mount helper error: fusermount3: mount failed: Permission denied CRITICAL: Fatal error: failed to mount FUSE fs: fusermount: exit status 1 This may be due to newer [Apparmor](https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AppArmor) restrictions, which can be disabled with `sudo aa-disable /usr/bin/fusermount3` (you may need to `sudo apt install apparmor-utils` beforehand). It would be great if the `rclone` package installed via `apt` would come with a working AppArmor setup out of the box. ** Affects: rclone (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2136056 Title: rclone mount is blocked by AppArmor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rclone/+bug/2136056/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
