NVIDIA has requested enabling CONFIG_DRM_SIMPLEDRM for the IGX Thor
platform. Set CONFIG_DRM_SIMPLEDRM=y, which will turn off
CONFIG_FB_SIMPLE.

Kernel config shows CONFIG_DRM_SIMPLEDRM=y.

Unexpected changes could occur from switch FB to DRM.
